An Introduction to Nature Journaling
Do you enjoy spending time outside? Are you curious about our environment? Would you like to incorporate drawing, painting or writing into your life more regularly?
Join us on May 31, 2025 from 1:00 – 2:30 for an introduction to nature journaling. Together, we will learn about the benefits of observing nature, get tips about how to start a journal, and share ideas that can help guide our entries. We will also take time to notice what is around us and record our discoveries.
This program will be led by Cordelia Hill, a Maine Master Naturalist and social worker who loves the library and being outside whenever she has the opportunity.
We will plan to be indoors and outdoors (weather permitting).
Space is limited to 10 people. Ages 12 and up.
Registration is required.
Please bring something to write, draw or paint with along with a blank notebook or sketchbook. We will also have pencils and paper available.
