Event Details
Do you enjoy being outside? Are you curious about the natural world? Would you like to incorporate drawing, painting or writing more regularly into your life?
Join us for an introduction to nature journaling. Together, we will identify benefits of observing the natural world, get tips on how to start a nature journal, and share ideas that can help guide our entries. We will also take time to notice what is around us and record our discoveries.
This program will be led by Cordelia Hill, Maine Master Naturalist and Licensed Master Social Worker, whose favorite places to be are the library and anywhere outside including the woods, beaches, ponds, meadows or mountain tops.
Space is limited to 10 people ages 12 and up and registration is required.
All are welcome, no artistic experience necessary. Please bring something to write, draw or paint with along with a blank notebook or sketchbook. We will have pencils and paper available as well
