"Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom" Documentary Film Screening and Discussion

PPL invites you to our screening of Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom as part of a series of events sponsored by the Permanent Commission to commemorate Juneteenth in 2025.

About the film:

In the film, a Black American is troubled by the legacy of American slavery and the misuse of Christianity to justify it. He travels throughout Texas discovering how the Juneteenth reveals faith and a fight for freedom in an unjust society.
