World of Wonders Writing Workshop

Registration is required and is being managed by MWPA. 

Essayist and poet Aimee Nezhukumatathil often explores the natural world, including whale sharks, fireflies, eels, dragonfruit, catalpas, monsoons, humans, and so much more. In this workshop hosted by Mihku Paul, participants will use selections from Nezhukumatathil's work to explore their own astonishment and curiosities related to the world around us. Writers of any and all backgrounds and levels of experience are welcome!

This free workshop is a collaboration between the Camden Festival of Poetry and the Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance (MWPA). Aimee Nezhukumatathil is the keynote speaker at the Camden Festival of Poetry on May 12-16, 2026.
