Program Description

Event Details

Hear about a book!  Talk about the book you’re reading!  Let’s get together and talk about a book!

Join us every other Thursday at noon for Blurb Club, an informal book discussion in which participants talk about a book they are currently reading or have recently read, and get a chance to hear book recommendations from other participants.  Sharing is encouraged but not required—the shy are welcome here. Here’s a list of what we’ve blurbed so far, but repeats are always welcome!

Blurb Club is hosted by Portland Public Library, Friends of Congress Square Park and Mechanics’ Hall.

Disclaimer(s)

The library is committed to making services available to everyone. All events at PPL buildings are wheelchair accessible. Some library programs take place outdoors or offsite at partner organizations and businesses. Persons requiring special assistance are encouraged to discuss needs with the contact listed for the event.

Please note that this event will take place outdoors. We encourage you to bring sunscreen, water, and weather-appropriate clothing. Rain or snow dates will be determined and communicated by staff if needed.
